Halloween is the most mysterious and mysterious modern holiday, which is celebrated annually on the night of October 31 to November 1.
In many countries, this day is a mass celebration. However, Halloween is most popular in America. The first mention of Halloween dates back to the XVI century. According to legend, on the night before Halloween, the spirits living in the afterlife return to earth, which is why the holiday, or rather, its eve is called All Saints' Day. According to legend, the cunning sinner Jack, who was not accepted into hell or heaven, wandered to earth with hellfire in his hands. To keep the flames out, Jack used a pumpkin as a lantern, which later became a symbol of the holiday.
So, on October 31, Halloween in college was very interesting. Students showed creativity in original costumes, hall design, competitions. Friendly atmosphere, jokes, fantasy in costumes and makeup – that's what marked this year's Halloween at our college!
