"They sang 'She's Not Dead Yet …'

"They sang" She's not dead yet "and died
The earth trembled, but the firmament underfoot…
Angels covered their faces…
And those under the grenade explosions went to their deaths…

Dedicated to those who have not lived to this day in the struggle for freedom and the better destiny of Ukraine, they sleep in graves!
It is dedicated to the flower of our people, to their glorious sons and daughters, who give their youth and, most dearly, their lives in the prime of their lives! ” – with these words the lesson of courage "Black dahlias bloom in Ukraine" began.
The educational event took place on February 20, 2020 in the reading room of the college on the occasion of the events on Euromaidan and in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine. The memory lesson was organized and conducted by the library staff L. Angarska, G. Zhulinska and the teacher V. Burlak.
Teachers PL Beneskul, NA Vyshtakalyuk, TV Sentsova, OV Metelitsa, YV Soldatov, students of groups 12, M21, M22, M33 gladly welcomed the distinguished guest Victor Ivanovich Gruts – a participant in the fighting actions in the anti-terrorist operation zone (ATO).
Petro Leonidovych Beneskul, Deputy Head of Educational Work, addressed the audience with an introductory speech: his life during the Revolution of Dignity, defending the ideals of democracy, defending human rights and freedoms, the European future of Ukraine. "
Students and faculty were offered the video "Heavenly Hundred: Chronology of Events" about those February days that were filled with pain, rage, self-sacrifice and despair of some and inhuman cruelty of others.
Six years have passed since the tragic events on the Maidan. But, unfortunately, the Heavenly Hundred did not end the pain and suffering of Ukraine, the enemy wants to divide our land, change history, destroy the Ukrainian nation.
The audience heard about the terrible events from our guest Viktor Gruts – a graduate of the college who defended the Donetsk airport, fought in the Sands, Avdiivka, and how no one else knows the price of life. The story was accompanied by video and photo materials made by the participant himself and his brother Ivan.
Heroes who died on February 18 five years ago during the battles for Debaltseve were also mentioned.
Many soldiers of the Armed Forces, unfortunately, were not destined to return alive, they died forever, still very young, but real heroes of their homeland. Students on the screen saw photos of college graduates who died in the East of the country: V. Ryzhak, D. Pozharsky, O. Orlov, A. Myronyuk, A. Slonsky, V. Kravchenko.
Peter Beneskul thanked the heroes of our time for forgetting about fear, pain, security, all as one, regardless of age and occupation, rose to fight the enemy.
The delegation consisting of: NP Nikolyuk, PL Beneskul, teachers, staff and students honored the memory of college graduates who died during the anti-terrorist operation by laying flowers at the memorial plaque.
